She had been out with friends the night before, and according to police members of the fraternities reported seeing her at their parties.
Authorities allege Chi Phi and Pi Kappa Phi violated the Interfraternity Council's Risk Management guidelines concerning alcohol at both parties.
Besides the university suspensions, both fraternities' national offices have suspended their Radford charters.
To now, fraternities had policed themselves.
Greek Affairs Coordinator Jim Hicks says he's looking for ways to strengthen the policy.

A Bedford County man has been sentenced to three years in prison for distribution of marijuana.
Police believe it was grown in elaborate indoor greenhouse facilities. Thirty-six year old Robert Selman, a painting contractor, was the first defendant sentenced in the case.
Selman was ordered to federal prison April 8th.
