More legal maneuvering in the civil case against Virginia Tech and two
football players a former student has accused of rape.
Tech's attorney filed a motion yesterday, saying that Christy Brzonkala has
no grounds for a discrimination suit against the university.
An attorney for one of the players, Tony Morrison, also filed a motion to
dismiss the lawsuit.
And attorneys for Brzonkala say the U-S Justice Department will intervene as
a plaintiff.
Ellen Qualls spoke with Brzonkala yesterday.
