Police in Australia have charged a devil worshiper with arson- -for setting fire to Sydney's Roman Catholic cathedral.
Twenty-one -year-old Jason Humphries was arrested while watching the blaze.
Police say Humphries told detectives he set fire to the sandstone and wooden church as an act of revenge against his mother-in-law. HE said she had introduced him to black magic.
The fire caused about five million dollars damage.
The cathedral was built in 1935 on the site of the first Catholic Mass celebrated in Australia in 1803.
