Divers searched for two days for the girl who reportedly jumped off a bridge.

But this morning, authorities learned the girl was alive and well.
They aren't releasing her name or any details pending further investigation.
Police also won't say whether the story of her jumping the bridge was just a hoax.

A man and woman were found dead this morning outside an abandoned store in Pittsylvania County.

The bodies were discovered around 4-o'clock on State Route 841 after a passerby noticed a third victim lying in the road.
Investigators believe 19- year old Sydney Hairston of Martinsville and 25- year old Darrell Womack of Axton were shot to death- but they are awaiting autopsy results.
The victim found lying in the road was 27- year old Knova Day of Axton.
He's in serious condition at a Danville hospital.
Sheriff Harold Plaster says this morning's wet weather did not cause problems with the investigation.

An Albemarle County man faces murder and firearms charges for a fatal shooting in Amherst last night.

Police say 27- year- old Juan Jose Ochoa (OCHO-A) shot and killed a 22 year old Hispanic male during an argument in the Town Court Mobile Home Park.
The victim's name has not been released. He was pronounced dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
After briefly fleeing the area, Ochoa returned a half an hour after the shooting and was arrested without incident.

Grucci has handled the fireworks displays for the last four U.S. presidential inaugurations.

She was indicted on 17 counts of fraud and forgery.

News 7 Sports has learned that Radford University athletic director Chuck Taylor os stepping down from the post he has held for the past 22 years.
Taylor wants to return to teaching at the University, and later today he will ask the school's board of visitors for a reassignment.
Taylor came to RU as the school's first AD and basketball coach in 1974.
Over that time he has taken the school into the Division one ranks and overseen an athletic department that fields 17 varsity sports.
He will not be easy to replace, although a number of Radford alumni including John Montgomery and Charlene Curtis will no doubt be candidates for the job.

The Bengals started slow, but this Corie Manns jumper got them on track in the first quarter.
Laurel Park led by 3 after 1 though. Rashad Wall penetrates the zone and nails the short jumper.
Then watch Cory Flood hit Jeff Slade on the nice look. Slade makes good on the chippie.

The Cavs led by 16 at the break and opened it up in the 3rd. Mancino Craighead finds Delvin Joyce on the break for the hoop and the hack.
Dan River tried to stay in it. Steven Guy follows his shot and scores in the paint.
But F-C pulls away. Zeke Hunt strips the baseline J.
Then Hunt misses but Neil Harbour
