That's after 38- year- old Geoffrey Ward escaped from a Powhatan prison yesterday.
He was captured today.

Ward climbed a razor-wire fence and ran across a field to get away from Powhatan Correctional Facility.
He was serving eight life sentences for raping and killing a 14- year- old girl and a 38- year- old woman in 1984.

Allen has called for a state police investigation to determine how Ward escaped.

The jet wobbles as it approaches- and skidded to stop on the runway.
Crews then foamed the front of the plane to avoid a fire.
