Mirch's blood alcohol level was more than two and a half times the legal limit.

Donald Irvan used a copier at the Central Virginia Training Center, when he worked there as a police officer, to make posters for his losing campaign last year.
An Amherst Circuit judge yesterday ordered Irvan to pay a 100-dollar fine after Irvan pleaded guilty to destruction of property as part of a plea agreement.
Earlier, a General District Court judge sentenced Irvan to 60 days in jail, with 50 suspended, and a 100-dollar fine on theft charges.

A Volvo owned by Lieutenant Governor Don Beyer was stopped for speeding in Chesterfield County Saturday, but the driver was LET OFF with a WARNING.

He was sitting in the passenger seat while driver Chris Elliott piloted the car with the lieutenant governor's license plates, numbered "1".
