There's been a shooting at an elementary school in Scotland.
Police in the town of Dunblane confirm there are some fatalities, but are giving no details.
The Scottish ambulance service says 12 children are believed to have been killed and as many as nine others injured in the shooting.
One reporter at the scene says she's heard that the gunman also shot himself. That has not been confirmed.

In Covington, some folks tried to fight city hall -- and lost.

City Council last night voted to keep the old city hall.

The controversy began when some council members and residents said that the current 90-year-old building does NOT serve the public.
They considered tearing it down and constructing a new one.
However, after much public outcry council instead voted to renovate the land mark.
Council members say they also want to construct a new building for the police department.
Officials say they will start taking bids on the renovation within the next ninety days.

Ron Jones caught up with some folks as they reminisced about the day Hollywood came to Highland County.

(( Henry King, a Christiansburg native, was a pioneering movie director in Hollywood during the 1920's.
One of his coveted treasures was "Tol'able David"... a silent film shot in Highland County.
It's the story of David Kinemon, played by Richard Barthelmess, who took on three bad guys after they terrorized his family.
Some of it was shot on the Rexrode family farm.
However, there have been a few changes since the film... a lot of the buildings are gone. STAND UP

She says the cast and crew weren't the Hollywood type.

Director Henry King said Highland County was the perfect setting because of its split rail fences and natural beauty.
