A fire that killed two elderly men in Lynchburg earlier this week has been ruled an accident.
83- year- old Sam Williams died when his home on "F" Street caught fire Monday morning.
His neighbor, 72- year- old Calvin Floyd, was also killed in the blaze.
Autopsies revealed both men died of smoke inhalation.
Fire marshals believe the fire started near a wood stove in Williams' bedroom.
A neighbor told them he saw Williams use gasoline to start the stove last week.
They don't know whether that's what fueled Monday's fire.
