A U-S soldier in Bosnia is in stable condition this morning after being shot
by an intruder.
A military spokes person says someone dressed in civilian clothing was
trying to break through wire at the U-S base in Tuzla.
He fired at one of the soldiers guarding the base, striking him in the
shoulder.
Officials say his injury is not life threatening.
The intruder got away.

With every 20 foot, 24- thousand pound section of pipe, Virginia Beach
residents start to see the end of their water rationing nightmare coming into
sight.
This is not the first shovelful.
Five major river crossings were constructed between 1992 and '94.
But the gaps are being filled in -- and filled in fast.
Despite ongoing legal challenges, and a bill against it pending in Congress,
opponents of the Lake Gaston pipeline can no longer hide in their shells or

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, but not before the home
