A U-S soldier in Bosnia is in stable condition this morning after being shot by an intruder.
A military spokes person says someone dressed in civilian clothing was trying to break through wire at the U-S base in Tuzla.
He fired at one of the soldiers guarding the base, striking him in the shoulder.
Officials say his injury is not life threatening.
The intruder got away.

With every 20 foot, 24- thousand pound section of pipe, Virginia Beach residents start to see the end of their water rationing nightmare coming into sight.
This is not the first shovelful.
Five major river crossings were constructed between 1992 and '94.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, but not before the home belonging to Johnny and Crystal Thornhill was destroyed.

Always dreamed of owning a pony?
The federal government will put about 120 wild horses up for adoption this weekend in Lexington.
Six-thousand horses and burros are given away each year in order to ease grazing pressure on public lands in Western states.
The horses are free to a qualified home, but there is a 125-dollar fee for transportation and veterinary care.
The mass adoption will take place at the Virginia Horse Center tomorrow and Sunday.
