Students at an elementary school in Franklin County were evacuated this
morning after lightning struck the school.
School officials say no one was injured by the incident at Dudley Elementary
School, but power and phone service were knocked out.
The students were taken to Burnt Chimney Elementary School.
The DUDLEY students will be dismissed two hours early today.

A five-year-old girl wounded in this week's attack on her kindergarten class
in Dunblane, Scotland has taken a turn for the worse.
She's now listed in critical condition.

A 21-year old Tacoma, Washington, man has become the second U-S soldier
wounded by hostile fire in Bosnia.

NATO says Shawn Austin was shot in the shoulder early this morning after
confronting someone who was trying to break into an American base in Tuzla.
Austin and another soldier returned fire, but the intruder got away.
Austin is hospitilized in stable condition.
