A powerful earthquake has rocked a Northwest region of China.
Officials say at least 24 people were killed and 50 more injured as homes collapsed in the quake that measured six-point-nine on the Richter Scale.
The epicenter is located two thousand miles west of Beijing.
Communication to the region has been cut off but officials expect the death toll to rise.

They would see the club drop a tough 4-3 shootout to the South Carolina Stingrays.

Tonya Harding is on her skates EVERYDAY and may apply to be reinstated by the U-S Figure Skating Association sometime next month.
The association banned her from figure skating for life. It also stripped her of a national title after discovering her role in the attack on Nancy Kerrigan.
