In a news release, they say they are saddened by the fact that employees have decided to take legal action.

Early on January 25th, five masked gunmen entered the emergency room at Memorial Hospital where they took nurses and other employees hostage.
It was a security drill, but now four nurses who say they were traumatized have sworn out criminal warrants against the participants.

Roanoke firefighters were feeling the heat this morning when they had to battle two blazes within an hour of each other.

The cause of both fires appears to be electrical in nature.
The fire marshal's office adds that in both cases smoke detectors saved the lives of the people who lived in the buildings.
The first fire started around four-o'clock on Rorer Avenue and left the building a total loss.
The second one took place in a Memorial Avenue apartment complex.
One unit suffered major smoke and water damage.
No one was injured in either fire.

That allows them to be tracked and monitored.
