Roanoke officials are making some changes in the plan to inspect rental

The changes are the result of a workshop the city held recently for

The revised plan calls for the city to provide inspections in designated

The goal would be to have each rental unit inspected at least once every two
years.
The city also wants to encourage property owners to take part in the
scheduled inspection program, by providing the first inspection and the next
two at no charge, if the rental unit passes.
