Meantime, in Pulaski County the School Board has expelled a fifth-grader for one year because the boy brought a B-B gun to school.
The board last summer adopted a weapons policy that includes automatic expulsion when a student brings a weapon onto school grounds.
School officials say a B-B gun falls under the policy.
