The bodies of the 33-Americans from Wednesday's crash arrived at Dover Air Force base on a grey, chilly day. a short time later tears began to fall. you could see the sorrow in nearly every face.
The crash sadly changed the lives of the people who knew and loved the victims, including President Clinton.
Ron Brown's body will lie in state at the commerce department for one day next week.
A funeral will follow at the National Cathedral, where President Clinton will deliver the eulogy.
Ron Brown will be buried at arlington national cemetery with full honors.
It was a sad start earlier in the day to the journey home for the crash victims.
Ambassador Peter Galbraith told mourners, the death of commerce secretary Ron Brown did not kill the hope for prosperity in Bosnia and Croatian President --frahn -yoh tooj -mahn--said, Ron Brown will remain forever in our memory.
A new team of investigators is now at the crash site.
Because there was no flight data recorder on the plane, what they may need to find most of all are eyewitnesses...someone who saw it all and can help explain why that plane crashed.

(( Authorities confirmed today a live bomb was discovered in Theodore Kaczynski's rustic cabin and safely defused.
It is another item in a growing list of possibly incriminating evidence facing the former math professor.
But if Kaczynsk is the unambomber, prosecutors will have to proove how the explosive devices were delivered to victims from New Jersey to California.
LAURIE LEVINSON: IT'S VERY HARD TO PIECE TOGETHER SOMEONE'S WHEREABOUTS. IT'S NOT LIKE THIS FELLOW HAD PHONE RECORDS THAT YOU COULD TRACE WHERE HE WENT.
From interviews with local residents, the FBI has determined that while Kaczynski was a recluse, it didn't mean he never left the area.
Montana state highway 200 runs righit through lincoln.
Witnesses say kacyznski would sometimes hitch a ride with a local deliveryman... traveling east to route 279, then south to helena the state capital.

While authorities know Kaczynski got this far, none of the unambomer's packages were postmarked from here.
Still, investigators may find their best evidence by matching items found in the cabin with fragments of the unabomber's deadly devices... which have been meticulously labeled and analyzed since 1978.
LAURI LEVENSON: THIS IS A GOOD OLD FASHIONED FBI CASE WHERE THE HARD PHYSICAL EVIDENCE IS KEY.

((The fire that killed four children and their grandmother put the heat on city officials.
A Rental Inspection Program was already in the works, but after the tragedy residents wanted the plan enacted soon.
Tenants and landlords joined city officials at a public workshop in March, to help fine tune the first draft of the proposal. ((RICHARD WINSTEAD/LANDLORD: THE CITY NEEDS TO PUT THEMSELVES IN THE PROPERTY OWNER'S SHOES AND THE PROPERTY OWNERS NEED TO PUT THEMSELVES IN THE TENANT'S SHOES AND AS LONG AS WE'RE ALL THINKING IN TERMS OF THE OTHER'S INTEREST WE CAN COME UP WITH A GOOD WORKING.)) City officials released the outcome of that workshop late yesterday afternoon.
Some notable changes include inspections every two years which shifts the focus away from inspecting a unit every time its vacated.
Landlords will be eligible for three free inspections if the unit passes.
And the city will make the inspection guidelines available to landlords and tenants.
They hope this will open the lines of communication for all involved. ((AND IF IT GETS TO THE POINT WHERE IT'S NOT PROFITABLE OR FINANCIALLY REWARDING THEN PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE GETTING OUT OF IT.))
Some low income housing may be lost as a result of the inspection program, but Michele Bono says there are other options available. ((WE DO HAVE PLENTY OF HOUSING AVAILABLE IN THE CITY'S HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT UNITS. EVEN IF IT WAS JUST FOR A TEMPORARY PLACE, UNTIL THEY FIND ANOTHER PLACE.))
The Rental Inspection Program will impact target areas like southeast Roanoke.
