Gunfire erupted inside Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem late this morning
killing a Rockbridge County woman and her husband.

Defendants Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols are demanding reams of

The defense wants a 50 page list of witnesses and material they allege
the government has withheld from them. Legal wrangling will go on for
about five months with the actual trial not expected to begin before the fall.
Mourners are bidding farewell to Commerce Secretary Ron Brown.
Brown's closed coffin will lie in state for one day in the Commerce
