A special subcommittee of the General Assembly will meet tomorrow to consider how state money might be used to build a professional baseball stadium in northern Virginia.
The 45-thousand seat stadium is expected to cost 30 MILLION dollars a year in operating costs and debt service.
And some of that money will come out of state coffers.
The question of how to fund the proposed park is forcing Virginia legislators to decide if professional baseball should be a private enterprise or a public investment.
