Showalter Reynolds.
That is according to authorities today.

Witnesses told police they saw her talking with a clean cut young man who
appeared to be helping her look under the hood of her car.

The NRDC analyzed heart and lung related deaths in 239 cities and
found that thousands of those deaths were linked to air pollution...cities
logging the most premature deaths are Los Angeles, New York, Chicago,
Philadelphia and Detroit.

Doctors who've been seeing a steady increase in asthma cases over the
years say they're not surprised by the findings.

MED. CTR.: THIS REPORT IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT DEMONSTRATES THAT THEIR IS
A SHORTENED LIFE SPAN FROM LIVING IN POLLUTED AREAS.
The most dangerous pollutants include electrical power plants and
gasoline and diesel fumes. The report calls on the environmental protection
agency to come up with tougher pollution controls to protect public
health, something the EPA is in the process of doing.
While the elderly and sick may be most at risk of dying prematurely, studies
also show that asthma is now the leading cause of hospitalization of children.
And as it spans the generations environmentalists say air
pollution could be the biggest public health problem this country faces.

honored for his work today.

division.
Tech's main focus is to win the conference tournament but the veterans are

Lance Armstrong maintained his overall in the Tour Dupont but failed to win
his 5th stage during yesterday's 110 mile trek from Bristol to Beech Mountain,
North Carolina.

Armstrong spent some of his pre-race time mugging for pictures with fans of
all sizes.
Again the riders had to deal with rain as they began this morning at 11.
But by the time they rolled into the Carolina mountains the skies and the
pavement had cleared somewhat.
That set the stage for an uphill sprint to the top of Beech Mountain.
Armstrong would give it his best but he finished second less than minute
behind team Festina rider Pascal Herve.

The Taxi and Limousine Commission unveiled a plan

this week to make cab rides a little more pleasant.
The commission says drivers are not intentionally discourteous, it's just
that English is not the native language of many cabbies.
To help they've come up with 50 courteous sayings.
They include:
"I'm sorry if you think I'm driving too fast. I'll slow down immediately."
"I would be pleased to place your bags in the trunk."
