(( "Pugsy" 's been at the pound since April 24th when animal control picked
him up in the 3-thousand block of Sunrise in Northwest Roanoke.
The SPCA traced his rabies tag back to Ft. Lewis, Washington... and his owner
Randy Fair. Fair is in the Army and is now stationed somewhere in Germany.
Staffers think Pugsy must have slipped away from whomever was watching him for
Fair.

He says the Red Cross can't help either because this is not an emergency
situation.
