A team of Navy divers is set to look for the flight recorders of ValuJet flight 5-92 today, as the search continues in the Florida Everglades for victims and debris.
The plane crashed Saturday as it tried to turn back to Miami after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit.
There are also indications there was smoke in the passenger cabin.
109 passengers and crew were aboard the jetliner.
Three people from Virginia are among the victims -- they are Roosevelt Tillman of Lynchburg and two former sheriff's deputies from Prince William County.
Dave Fehling has more now on the investigation.

((
The search resumed at daybreak for debris and bodies in the murky everglades north of Miami.
Teams slogging through the waist-high muck have already found numerous small pieces of flight 592. But so far, the all-important flight recorders are still submerged.
A team of navy divers with sonar equipment will begin looking for the radio signal from the so-called black box.
It's located in the tail section of the plane, and because investigators have already found debris from the tail, they believe they are close. ((ROBERT FRANCIS, NATIONAL: WE HOPE IT INDICATES THE RECORDERS MAY BE FOUND QUICKLY.))
Searchers have also recovered what are believed to be body parts, but recovering the rest of the remains of the 109 victims could take days, even weeks.
Federal aviation officials continue to assure the public that ValuJet, a budget airline, is as safe to fly as any other.
But beginning today, the Federal Aviation Administration begins an intensive review of ValuJet's safety and maintenance procedures. ((DAVID HINSON/FAA ADMINISTRATOR: ANY TIME THERE'S AN ACCIDENT... THIS EFFORT.))))
