A Cullen man was killed yesterday when the pick-up he was driving ran into
another vehicle.
It happened yesterday on Route 47 in Charlotte County.
Police say 89- year- old Luke Hamlet pulled out in front of a van.
Hamlet died at the scene.

Searchers have found the flight data recorder from ValuJet Flight 5-92.
Today they hope to locate the voice recorder.
It is submerged somewhere in the muck of the Florida Everglades where the
plane crashed Saturday killing 109. One of the victims was Lynchburg resident,
Roosevelt Tillman.
