Yesterday the Freemen flew a U-S flag upside down, while some members toyed
with their high-powered rifles.
Meantime one of the two young girls inside the ranch compound rode her

It's that girl and her sister who have become a crucial issue in
negotiations and now the Freemen reportedly have moved those girls into the

More ammunition for anti-smoking activists today.
There are reports about a 1973 document in which R-J Reynolds secretly
concluded that skyrocketing Marlboro sales were due to extra nicotine added by
competitor Philip Morris.
The stories are running in "The Los Angeles Times" and "Wall Street
Journal."
Critics claim the document proves that manufacturers manipulate nicotine
content to hook customers.
Reynolds, however, points out that between 1973 and 1988 Marlboro sales were
steady or up, even with less nicotine -- which means its earlier conclusion was
wrong.
