Nearly seven days were spent deliberating.
PResident Clinton testified for the McDougal's defense in a videotaped presentation.
The president denied allegations he pressured an Arkansas banker for a loan.

It also includes the only known moving picture of Vice President Johnson from that day.

One of two men accused of robbing a Lynchburg bank last fall was convicted today.

Charles Banks held up the First Virginia Bank on Main Street in Lynchburg the morning of November 30th.
The 29-year old and another man walked into the bank and demanded money, but never displayed a weapon.
A dye pack in their bag of money exploded before they could get away.
Banks pleaded not guilty to the charge this morning, but the Judge found him guilty after a short trial.
He'll be sentenced in July.

It seems as if few people want to listen to O-J Simpson who says his video tells all.
According to The "Infomercial Marketing Report" the 30-dollar video only sold 40-thousand copies.
By comparison, during the same period, viewers bought nearly 100-thousand copies of a weather video called "The Chase."
That's the Weather Channel's account of meteorologists who follow storms.
The producer of Simpson's video says most T-V stations refused to run paid ads for the tape, and most video stores have refused to stock it.
