A Roanoke County woman says she'll go to the highest authority if she has
to, but she won't give up.
Carolyn Anderson's parked car was hit by a Salem fire truck, and so far she
has gotten nowhere with her claim for damages.
The law gives cities immunity for such things when providing legitimate
governmental services.
Anderson's 1995 Grand Prix was sideswiped while she was attending her
daughter's graduation earlier this month at Roanoke College.
The fire truck was responding to an emergency call.
The damage was under 400 dollars, but Salem's insurance won't pay it.
