A Moneta man died in a head-on collision with a state trooper's car early
this morning.
Police say 41-year-old Victor Howard Wilcox was driving west on Route 6-16
in Franklin County when his pickup truck hit the shoulder of the road.
Wilcox then lost control of his truck and hit a police car driven by State
Trooper J-K Johnson.
Trooper Johnson was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for minor
injuries and released.
