Two murders in less than five months have left neighbors of a Lynchburg
night club fearing for their safety AND their economic survival.
The latest killing took place early this morning when 26- year- old Edwin
Bradley of Georgia was shot to death outside the Glass House restaurant.
In January, 24- year- old Robert Allen was gunned down in the mall parking
lot after leaving the Glass House.
Now, other merchants in the outlet mall say all the violence is cutting into

The 16-year old driver who struck and killed a Roanoke County teacher late
last year has been released from custody after serving just over two months.

Joe Dashiell is in the newsroom tonight with the story.
Jean, the young man received an indeterminate sentence.
That means Youth Corrections could have kept him until he turned 21.
But when he was sentenced, officials said he would likely serve about four

Bonnie Kitts was struck and killed in December while she was out walking
with her husband.
The teenager, who lived in the same neighborhood, was driving drunk.
The boy lost his driver's license for five years, and he must perform 100

A drug that's caused an uproar in Japan probably won't be hitting the U-S
market anytime soon.
An F-D-A panel has decided not to approve the medicine Sorivudine that
treats the painful disease shingles.
The government says there's too much risk.
