26- year- old Edwin T. Bradley of College Park, Georgia was shot once in the chest and died later at Lynchburg General Hospital.
No arrests have been made.
The Glass House also was the scene of Lynchburg's first murder of 1996, when Robert Allen was shot to death there January 21st.

It was Malcolm Woody who found his parents dead in the kitchen of their Day Avenue apartment.
Police say he walked a few blocks to a relative's home and called 911.

Police confirm that Wanda Woody suffered a blow to the head... but say her husband had no obvious injuries.
Authorities also believe that an argument took place in the vicinity of the Woody home shortly before the deaths were reported... but they don't think there was a struggle in the kitchen.
Malcolm Woody told police he was asleep before discovering the bodies... and heard nothing.
At this point the causes of death have not been determined.
Police are still waiting for both autopsy results.

Veterinarians in Pulaski County are nursing 31 dogs and cats back to health. They were taken from the Solid Rock Kennel.

The operators, Terry Weaver and Annette Jenkins are charged with 31 counts each of cruelty to animals.

Mystery surrounds the death of a Patrick Henry High School student.
Yesterday, 17- year- old Brian Sowers died from an UNdiagnosed illness.

An elderly Tennesee woman has died following an accident in Wythe County.
It happened yesterday afternoon near the 60 mile marker on Interstate 81.
Police say 70-year-old Ruth Neal of Tazwell was a passenger in a vehicle that ran OFF the road and hit a TRUCK.
They say the driver of the car fell asleep at the wheel.

A federal judge has ruled that Virginia's ballot-access laws are UNconstitutional.
Judge Jackson Kiser said the state has a filing deadline that is TOO EARLY for independents who want to get on the Senate ballot.
The deadline is NEXT Tuesday, but Kiser ordered the state to extend it to NO more than 90 days before the election.
Attorneys for the state said the ruling will be appealed.

He died after being transported to Lynchburg General Hospital.

Investigators are still talking with witnesses, but no arrests have been made.
This is the second fatal shooting at the Glass House this year.
