Some jubilent but rowdy Bulls fans created some minor disturbances which led to more than 100 arrests.
Police quickly moved in to control the incidents, which included rock and bottle-throwing and store looting.
Ten people were reportedly shot, but police are not sure how many are related to the game.

Boris Yeltsin survives the first round of Russia's presidential election.

Russian voters have given Yeltsin a halfhearted endorsement.
He and his runner-up, Communist rival Gennady Zyuganov (geh-NAN'-dee zyoo-GAH'-nov), are both well shy of the required majority.
That means a runoff in the month ahead.
The ultimate results may depend largely on the strength and loyalties of the other candidates.

Firefighters are surrounding a Utah brushfire that threatened to cut off power to much of the west.

The fire spread to within a half mile of a power station that feeds the West Coast and Las Vegas.

With neither Yeltsin nor Zyuganov expected to exceed the required 50 percent for outright victory, both are apparently headed for a July runoff.
The showing for the other candidates in the crowded race is critical to the outcome of an eventual runoff.
Early vote counts for the other contenders suggest Yeltsin would have an edge in the runoff.

That's when a house fire killed a woman and four of her grandchildren in rental property in southeast Roanoke.
Council is set to vote on the latest proposal this afternoon.

Gone from the plan are mandatory yearly inspections and 75 dollar fines for landlords who refuse to cooperate.
Landlords also won't have to submit lists of their property-- and property inspections will only occur voluntarily.
Neighboring cities Lynchburg and Salem require rental properties to undergo mandatory yearly inspections.

A Danville organization used Father's Day as a way to promote the rights of all parents.

Nearly 40- men, women and children marched through downtown Danville carrying signs bearing messages such as "Remember the Children" and "Children Need Fathers, Too."
The event was organized by a newly formed group called "Equal Parents, Equal Time".
Organizers say their goal is to ensure both parents are given equal visitation.

Also yesterday -- a seven foot snake was loose in Roanoke.

City Police were dispatched to the "E-Z-N" on Brandon Avenue at about six last night.
A crowd gathered and watched the snake for more than twenty minutes as it slithered around the exterior of the convenience store.
Officer M-G Vineyard finally corralled the snake into a trash can.
An animal control officer arrived later-- he took the snake to the S-P-C-A.
Police say the snake is probably an escaped pet.

Hours before that, dispatchers received several calls that a black bear was spotted near the Days Inn on Orange Avenue.
Officers chased the 100 pound bear for about 40 minutes before cornering it in a wooded area on First Street.
Then Animal Control officers tranquilized it with a gun.

Randy Fair is in the Army and last night "Pugsy" boarded an airplane to be reunited with him.
