Convicted murderer Jens Soering will have another day in court.
The state Supreme Court wants to know whether prosecutors withheld evidence that could have cleared him.
Bedford County authorities say this is just a step in the legal process that began ten years ago with the indictments of Jens Soering and his girlfriend Elizabeth Haysom.

Haysom pleaded guilty as an accessory to the murder of her parents and is serving a 90- year prison term.
Soering was sentenced to two life terms for stabbing to death Derek and Nancy Haysom.
Although he initially confessed to the crime, Soering later claimed someone else committed the murders.
Now he says prosecutors tried to hide evidence that could have supported that claim.
