The bomb, in the form of a truck full of fuel blew up just outside the King Abdul Aziz Airbase in Dahran. These pictures of the base were taken last August. Foreign troops enforcing the no fly zone over southern Iraq are stationed here. Some Middle East experts suspect the attack was carried out by Arab extremists who want the U.S. Military out of Saudi Arabia.

Police caught up with a suspect in this weekend's murder of a Roanoke woman.

Aquila Barnett was arrested today at his mother's home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Barnett is accused in the shooting death of his former girlfriend- 23-year old Robin A. Williams early Saturday morning.
Police believe Barnette had apparently stalked Williams before murdering her.

Barnett was described as highly jealous. He was suspected of setting an April fire at the home Williams shared with her boyfriend.
The couple had to jump from a second story window to escape the flames.

Lynchburg authorities now say that two-week old baby they were frantically searching for yesterday may not even exist.

Authorities were called to this home Monday after getting a phone tip that the woman there might harm her newborn baby.
Minutes later that woman, 30-year old Beverly Renee Wade, crashed a stolen car on the Route 501 Expressway.
Police still don't know whether Wade ever gave birth to a child. There are no hospital records and she's not talking to authorities.
Wade has been charged with grand theft and remains held without bond.

Former Radford University assistant men's basketball coach Dave Dickerson is on the move again.
A little over a month after taking job at Marshall, Dickerson has been hired as one of Gary Williams assistants at his alma mater the University of Maryland.

This week marks the one hundredth birthday of one of the world's best loved
candies---the Tootsie roll.


So to celebrate the company threw itself a birthday bash complete with a four foot long Tootsie Roll cake.
The chocolate confection began in a small New York City storefront in 1896 and has been a candy constant ever since.
The company still makes 49-MILLION of the candies every single day.
Company president Ellen Gordon says if you placed all the Tootsie Rolls produced in a year end to end..they would reach to the moon and back.
