((Last fall, 42 cadets embarked on a new tradition at Mary Baldwin College... and for that matter in the Commonwealth.
They were the first cadets to participate in the Virginia Women's Institute for Leadership Program... touted as a military- style education alternative to VMI.
But the Supreme Court Decision has cast doubt on the future of the program.
That's because VWIL receives money from Virginia Military Institute.
Funds are guaranteed for a few more years, but there are no promises after that point.
School officials now say they have to weigh their options.

The bodies of the 19 victims of the truck bombing in Saudi Arabia are arriving at this hour at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
The fallen servicemn will be remembered Sunday in a memorial service in Flordia.
From the G-7 Summit in France today, President Clinton challenged world leaders to rally against terrorism.
The summit is normally dominated by trade and economics, but the bombing has pushed terrorism to the top of the agenda.
Clinton says he expects leaders to adopt 40 specific anti-terrorism recommendations.

A high speed chase that killed a man in Smyth County has resulted in a reckless driving charge against a state trooper.
Special Prosecutor Gerald Gray says Trooper Michael Spangler was chasing a speeding motorist on I-81 last September when he tried to pass another car on the left.
Spangler lost control, hit a guardrail and struck the vehicle he was attempting to pass.
The driver, 59 year- old John Paul Shenk was killed. His wife Dorothy suffered minor injuries, and Spangler sustained back, neck and facial injuries.

The Hardees restaurant in Salem has two strikes against it.
Strike one, the health department shut down the restaurant because of suspected Salmonella poisoning.

The fast food chain on route 4-19 was closed Tuesday after two of its employees came down with Salmonella poisoning.
