David Keith Bell and Larry Dean Neighbors were acquitted today in circuit court, 14- months after they were first accused.

Neighbors was also accused of rape.
Ronlynn Eaton claimed the two men offered her a ride home from a Roanoke nightspot in May of 1995, and then forced her to have sex with them.
But today, defense attorneys pointed out inconsistencies in her statements, and the judge dismissed the case without hearing any of the defense witnesses.

The money is expected to be used to build an organic vegetation filter system.
It will clean the water before it goes into the Jackson River.
Each day 36-thousand gallons of leachate and contaminated water escapes into the Jackson River.

Traces of Molotov cocktails and gasoline were found in a badly damaged church yesterday.

28-year old Menendez plans to marry his fiance Anna Ericksson.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Nancy Brown will perform the ceremony.
According to Brown, Menendez has the right to be married.
But another judge said the marriage of a defendant is not ethical at the taxpayer's expense.
Lyle's brother Erik will also be present for the wedding.
Both Erik and Lyle will spend life in prison for the murders of their parents.
