Bosnian Serbs threatened to fire at American helicopters over the weekend.
There was a tense stand-off with U-S Soldiers and about two-thousand Bosnian Serb civilians in front of the Bosnian Serb Army headquarters.
It apparently began when some U-S helicopters flew over the area to verify a sighting of Bosnian Serb armored vehicles.
The vehicles were reportedly outside areas designated for them by the Dayton peace agreement.
Late yesterday, the Bosnian Serb forces were apologizing for what they called a "mistake."

United Rubber Workers Local 2-40 is divided.
Today union members will vote on Rubatex's contract offer.
Last Sunday union members narrowly voted DOWN this same proposal.
The company has threatened to layoff nearly THREE HUNDRED workers and move part of the operation out of state IF the offer is turned down.

Members in favor of the contract say-- voting yes would save jobs.
Several declined to talk on camera for fear of retribution from other union members.
They say people need to look at the big picture.
They also said if the company moves one operation out of Bedford more will follow.

Charles Mallory, Jr. says -- quote -- if the company wants to move part of its operation, it will move no matter how the union votes.
Bedford Mayor Mike Shelton says if the jobs leave the community's morale will suffer.

The failure occured fifteen feet down the runway.
He says that's the point where maximum take- off thrust is applied. Meanwhile, investigators are also looking at safety and maintenance records of the Pratt Whitney Engine.
That engine is the recent subject of an F-A-A Air worthiness directive.
