The search for the site of a major league baseball stadium in northern
Virginia appears back on track.
The Virginia Baseball Stadium Authority should have three or four choice
sites to consider by September.
That would be a vast improvement from last month -- when a list of at least
13 possible locations dwindled to zero.
The authority agreed yesterday to accept nominations through July 22nd for
sites that meet the basic criteria for a major league park.

drug dealers and other crime in the Sandy Level community.
The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services has since extended a
helping hand.
Thanks to a two year grant, the Henry County Sheriff's department has been
able to hire two additional drug investigators.

The search for the site of a major league baseball stadium in northern
Virginia appears back on track.
The Virginia Baseball Stadium Authority should have three or four choice
sites to consider by September.
That would be a vast improvement from last month -- when a list of at least
13 possible locations dwindled to zero.
The authority agreed yesterday to accept nominations through July 22nd for
sites that meet the basic criteria for a major league park.
