A 15- year- old boy died this morning after being electrocuted in Botetourt County.

It happened around 10 o'clock.
A group of kids was apparently on a boat on the James River when they went ashore near the James River Limestone Plant.
Officials believe the teenager was electrocuted when he got too close to an electric wire.
Rescue Squad personnel say the teen was from Wisconsin, visiting relatives in the area.

Danville Police are looking into the death of a 23-year-old man.
Pierre (pea-AIR) Lamont Pritchett of Danville was found dead in the front seat of a car around 11-45 last night.
The death was apparently related to a vehicle accident.
The car was found resting against a fence at the Market Garden Field-- in the 500 block of Henry Street.
Police say Pritchett suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
They are now waiting for autopsy results.

But the dominate car belonged to pole setter Mark Martin he pulled back in front and led the Race with Ernie Irvan in second place.

Jeff Gordon, who usually runs strong at Pocono, was struggling in 8-th place after the halfway mark.
