An attorney review board in Michigan concluded this month that the Detroit
lawyer misappropriated 5-thousand dollars from (SIR-ing) Soering, lied to him
about lining up witnesses, and falsified documents.
His law license was suspended for four years.
Neaton unsuccessfully defended the German-born U-V-A honor student as an
accomplice in the murder of Derek and Nancy Haysom in the mid-80's.
(SIR-ing) Soering believes he deserves a new trial.
Neaton told the Charlottesville "Daily Progress: (YENZ) Jens is in prison,
because he made a conscious decision to help Elizabeth Haysom. I was his
lawyer," Neaton said, "not his magician."
There is enough evidence against an accused killer to send his case to the
22-year old (ceh-PAY-dah) Cepada Renaldo Wiley is charged with first degree
murder in the shooting death Jesse Darnell Ferguson.
The fatal shots were fired on the Fourth of July, in the parking lot of the
Embassy Inn on Melrose Avenue.
At a preliminary hearing this morning, a police detective testified
that Wiley gave a statement to authorities.
In it, Wiley said he shot Ferguson because he feared for his life.

In all, Ferguson suffered four gunshot wounds to his neck and back.
The judge certified the murder charges against Wiley but allowed him to stay
free on bond.

The Governor's Fall River Renaissance clean-up program runs for one month,
starting September 21st.

R-R Donnelley recently began building a multi-million dollar plant in

The printing giant will spend 30-million dollars for expansion there.
The move will mean a larger press room, two high speed printing presses, and
a state of the art ink solvent recovery system.
Donnelley wants the expansion done by 1998.
It will bring 40 new jobs to the plant.
Right now Donnelley has 900 employees in Lynchburg.
It's taken seven years to get the project off the ground, but today
Roanoke's small business incubator finally opened its doors.
The building near Wasena Park used to house corporate headquarters of
