His law license was suspended for four years.
Neaton unsuccessfully defended the German-born U-V-A honor student as an accomplice in the murder of Derek and Nancy Haysom in the mid-80's.

22-year old (ceh-PAY-dah) Cepada Renaldo Wiley is accused of fatally shooting Jesse Darnell Ferguson.

The fatal shots were fired on the in the parking lot of the Embassy Inn on Melrose Avenue.
At a preliminary hearing yesterday, a police detective testified that Wiley gave a statement to authorities.
In it, Wiley said he shot Ferguson because he feared for his life.

But they suspect the council will monitor the program's progress for the next couple of years.
