shooting Jesse Darnell Ferguson.

The fatal shots were fired on the in the parking lot of the Embassy Inn on
Melrose Avenue.
At a preliminary hearing yesterday, a police detective testified
that Wiley gave a statement to authorities.
In it, Wiley said he shot Ferguson because he feared for his life.
