A Roanoke teenager faces a murder charge following a weekend fatal stabbing

It happened yesterday near the intersection of Salem Avenue and 17th Street.
Police say Michael Dent of Roanoke was stabbed to death by a 17-year-old
during an apparent.
The juvenile, who's name has NOT been released, was taken into custody and
treated for a cut on his forearm.
He was later charged with murder.
There was a second arrest in the incident.
Police say 20-year-old Irvin Williams was arrested for shooting into an
occupied dwelling.
No one was injured in the shooting.

discuss the school's future direction.

which will likely supervise any changes.

September 21st.

This weekend's mass included a baptism as well as first communion for a
handful of young people.

opposition to the introduction of riverboat gambling in Virginia.
The poll also shows that many opponents of floating casinos change their
minds if gambling revenues mean no tax increase.
Forty-seven percent of those polled support riverboat gambling and 40
percent are against it, with 13 percent undecided.

Universal Studios is checking out the Newport News Marine Terminal... and
