Earl Bramblett was a suspect early-on, but he wasn't very forth- coming.
Police searched a motel where he was staying and a storage unit he rented.
Bramblett was indicted today in Roanoke County. He was arrested this
afternoon in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The Associated press says emergency operators spent ten minutes trying to

convenience store sold beer to the teenager who struck and killed a teacher
last year.

store will lose its wine and beer license for 30 days.
Paying the fine would reduce the suspension to TWENTY days.

About an hour later, the young man's car struck Bonnie Kitts as she walked
along the road near her home.

A consumer group is trying to stop the use of a device used to help women
fight premature labor.
The National Women's Health Network claims at least two previously-healthy
women died using the at-home drug pump prescribed for thousands of pregnant
women.
The device pumps an asthma drug-- (Tur-BUTE-a-lean Terbutaline- which is
not approved for use against premature labor.
The maker of the device stands by the practice-- and says nurses telephone
patients daily to check for side effects.
