task of recovering bodies.
The bodies of 161 of the 230 victims have been recovered.

ship that can deploy a remote-controlled underwater vehicle capable of raising
loads that weigh up to 13-thousand pounds.

They're hoping those pieces can provide evidence to back up the bomb theory.

Three people are hurt in the second stabbing in Roanoke in as many days.

Police say it all started yesterday at the house at 4-11 Day Avenue.
Apparently three people got into an argument and someone pulled out a knife.
The fight then spilled out into the streets.
During the incident two people suffered minor injuries, one was taken to the
hospital.
Authorities are still trying to sort out what happened.
The names and conditions of the victims have NOT been released.

Meanwhile the Roanoke stabbing victim who was killed Sunday recently told
his girlfriend about some nightmares he was having.
Michael Dent said he was dreaming about dying a violent death.
Dent was fatally stabbed outside the Hurt Park housing complex, where he
lived almost his entire life.
The stabbing came after an argument.
Police say so far they do not believe drugs were involved.

The 17- year- old accused of killing Dent appeared in court yesterday.
ROBERT Reed of Detroit is being charged with murder and held without bond at
the Coyner Springs Detention Center in Botetourt County.

Christy Brzonkala sought to invoke the federal Violence Against Women Act
in a lawsuit alleging she was raped by two Virginia Tech football players.
Now she plans to appeal a ruling dismissing the case.

The lawyer for Brzonkala said her client also intends to pursue separate
lawsuits in state courts.
Brzonkala contends that Tech players Tony Morrison and James Crawford raped
her in their dorm in 1994.
But the two players never faced criminal charges.
And U-S District Judge Jackson Kiser threw out her ten million dollar
lawsuit against the players in a ruling released yesterday.

The family of a teenager who was electrocuted is seeking one million dollars
in damages.
That's according to the family's attorney.

Plant.
Rescue workers said 15-year old Eric Bowden of Wisconsin was electrocuted on
the banks of the James River in Botetourt County after he came in contact with

Over in Montgomery County, Dow Williston claims what a sheriff's deputy did
to his dog amounts to animal abuse.

Apparently Williston's one- year- old Rottweiler freed himself from his
chain early Friday morning.
A neighbor called the sheriff's department to report a loose dog causing a
disturbance.
The deputy arrived around 4-30.
He says the dog tried to attack him and he had to shoot it.
The bullet struck Shadow in the nose, penetrated his mouth and was lodged in
his neck.
The sheriff says this is not the first time people have complained about
this dog.
