A manhunt in Lynchburg was called off this afternoon after the alleged
triggerman in a shooting incident turned out to be the victim's mother.

41- year- old Emma Jean Davis was arrested and led away in handcuffs after
police charged her with shooting her own daughter inside their Augusta Avenue
home around 10 this morning.
Tara Kim was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital, suffering from multiple
gunshot wounds.
The first 9-1-1 call police received described the incident as a shooting
that took place during a burglary, and police at first were searching for a
supposed gunman that had fled the scene.

guard's apartment.

clear him of suspicion.
Jewell's pickup truck was also towed away.

victims of the Valujet Crash.
110 people died in the crash in May- but only 61 were identified.
The unidentified remains were sorted into 49 caskets, each with a single
rose on top.
The funeral service was held to assist the family members in their
grieving process and to bring closure to the tragedy.
