Federal agents this morning began searching the apartment of Richard Jewell.
But officials say Jewell has not been charged in the case.

Jewell..is the man who first reported finding the knapsack that exploded..killing one woman and injuring 111 others..at olympic centennial park. Residents of the complex were escorted out before agents entered the apartment. The FBI stresses Jewell is not a suspect and has not been arrested.

The bodies of Blaine and Teresa Hodges and their two young daughters were found inside their burning home two summers ago.
Teresa Hodges had been strangled; her husband and children were shot to death.
Yesterday police arrested Bramblett in Spartanburg.
He has been indicted on charges of capital murder, three counts of first- degree murder and related arson charges.
Residents of the Hodges' Vinton neighborhood say they're relieved by the news of Bramblett's arrest.

Police in Lynchburg are looking for a man who shot a woman in her home this morning.

It happened about 10 o'clock in the 15 hundred block of Augusta street.
Officials say 25-year-old Tara Kim was shot several times by an unidentified man, who then fled into some woods nearby.
Police are searching the neighborhood for him, but so far they have NOT found him.
Kim is in the emergency room at Lynchburg General Hospital, in serious condition.
Police say the two small children were upstairs sleeping at the time of the shooting, and were still asleep when police arrived.
A relative is taking care of them.

Dalton admitted burying the body of 72- year old Clark Aubrey Adkins, but denied pulling the trigger.
According to testimony, Dalton's teenage sister, Mary, and her boyfriend were there when the crime occurred.
Dalton's attorney had tried to convince the jury it was Mary's boyfriend who fired the shotgun.
The defense's side of the story may have placed doubt in the jury's mind.
Dalton was found NOT guilty of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

She was found dead outside of her home, four years ago.
Yesterday, Helms pleaded NOT guilty by reason of insanity and was sent to Central State Hospital in Petersburg.
Helms told authorities that a man held a gun to his head and forced him to kill Allen.
