The head of the International Olympic Committee says Atlanta has staged "excellent competitions" this summer.
Despite the bombing in Olympic park organizers say they are pleased.
However, some are criticizing the commercialism of the games-- saying the Olympics should have focused more on the sport rather the endorsements.

Visitors packed Centennial Olympic Park for the last time --to watch the closing ceremonies which bring Atlanta's 100th anniversary games to an end.
An estimated two to three million people visited Atlanta in the past two weeks, they came to watch 10 thousand athletes participate in 271 events.
There was also the all-night partying as music filled the streets... and if you were wearing olympic pins, everywhere you went you were the target of someone wanting to trade their pins...
While no one will forget about the murderous park bombing, visitors we spoke with say their lasting memories will be about good times.
The investigation into the bombing is quietly going forward.
The FBI is still looking at security guard Richard Jewell.. a prominent Atlantan has joined Jewell's defense team.
Jewell's original lawyer explained the move.
WATSON BRYANT, JEWELL ATTY.: BECAUSE THIS IS SUCH A SERIOUS MATTER... IN THIS AREA.
For three days the bombing left businesses near the park completely shut down... and while some vendors on the fringe of the main areas struggled for two weeks....vendors near the park thrived once it reopened.
Olympic organizers are not completely satisfied though.
They criticize the american event for putting to much emphasis on making money through mass marketing--focusing on that instead of the athletics--the games relied heavily on private funding.
