A military spy plane came crashing down in California- today killing at
least two people.
The U-Two Spy plane slammed into a parking lot of a newspaper in Oro-ville,
California- just north of Sacramento.
The pilot reportedly declared an in-flight emergency a few minutes before
Witnesses say they saw a parachute and an explosion before the plane
The pilot and at least one person on the ground were killed.

That could be crucial, because the pins are designed to break and allow the

Roanoke's phantom air traffic controller is serving an eight-year prison
THREE years into it, Rodney (Bow-Cook) Bocook has decided he's had
enough... and is making a pitch for early release.

The 30-year old convict says it was all just a ploy for attention... that he

For seven weeks Bocook sat in his Westover Avenue apartment, misdirecting
HE remembers his own lawyer... even the prosecutor said it wasn't all that

Organizers say it's the town's spirit that designated it the second stop on

get underway August 15th.
It features athletes who are physically impaired, but also highly- skilled.

Drug testing will continue for athletes in the Lynchburg school system.
Last year, twelve athletes tested positive for drugs... that's up from just
ONE the year before.
The numbers helped convince the school board to continue the city's drug
testing program for another year.
Organizers say the program is vital to identify students in need of
substance abuse services.

Miller says the sharp increase in last year's numbers reflect a rise in drug
use in the community.
Of the twelve who tested positive eleven had been using marijuana.

Cloverdale section of Botetourt County in 1990.
The utility had a big setback recently when a long-awaited report by the U-S
Forest Service reccommended keeping the line off federal lands.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Department is turning to the airwaves for

Department have new reason to look over their shoulder.
Less than a week ago, Cable Vision Industries in Danville began devoting air
time to help locate the area's most wanted.
So far, nearly two dozen suspects have made their debut on Cable Channel 12.

It's decorated with more than 630 pink diamonds...making it over 20 carats.
