before his trial yesterday.
21-year old Donnell Cook was awaiting trial on four misdemeanor traffic
charges in Bedford County court.
Cook apparently escaped from the courthouse by climbing out a third-floor

But the man who pinned that label on himself three years ago wants out of
prison.
Now Rodney Bocook is afraid recent events could hurt his chances.

He says it's scary- -realizing only now, that he could have caused a
disaster like T-W-A flight 800.
When his escapade started three years ago, Bocook's interference on flight
control frequencies was just a nuisance.
Eventually he would chat with as many as eight or ten pilots a night,
telling them to change altitude, abort landings at the last minute or hold
short of a runway intersection.
The judge decided he intentionally endangered pilots, passengers and
EARTH-BOUND citizens.

A U-S spy plane has crashed in northern California killing the pilot and
one person on the ground.

An witness say the plane burst into flames in mid-air before crashing into a
parking lot.
The person killed on the ground had just walked out of a nearby newspaper
building.
Two other people suffered minor injuries.
Originally built for spying, the U-2 planes have been used for
