Gamble also delayed Burley's trial to November 12th.
The 44-year-old Madison Heights man is charged with killing two Lynchburg women whose bodies were found by hunters at separate times late last year.

The plane crashed into a remote mountaintop near Jackson Hole Saturday night.
The aircraft was serving as part of President Clinton's vacation entourage, carrying presidential vehicles and other cargo.

Merritt and seven other Air Force officers on board were stationed at Dyess Air Force base in Abilene, Texas.
Authorities don't know why the plane went down.

Money is pushing the Amherst County Sheriff's department into the 21st century, 300-thousand dollars in state and federal grant money, to be more exact.

Sheriff Jimmy Ayers had campaigned last year on the promise that he would seek grant money for new equipment and personnel for the department.
In his eight months on the job, Ayers and his staff have won more than a half dozen grants, helping them finance new vehicles, computers and staff positions.
Ayers says the computers in particular will help slash the number of hours spent on paperwork every year.
That means deputies will spend more time behind the wheel than behind a desk.

The son of Virginia Lieutenant Governor Donald Beyer was rescued by two boaters after jumping from a bridge into the Potomac River over the weekend.
Beyer's office has confirmed that the man rescued by passersby on Sunday was Donald Sternoff Beyer the Third, the lieutenant governor's 20-year-old son.
The Beyer family had no comment on the incident.
The younger Beyer was treated and released from a Frederick County hospital.

The 70-thousand acre blaze in Upper Lake spewed smoke that spanned from the San Francisco Bay area to Lake Tahoe.

Close to three-thousand firefighters were battling it, and 650 military personnel from Colorado are set to arrive today.

Hemingway's body was found July first.
The report says she died from (fee-nuh-BAHR'-bi-tawl) phenobarbitol use, at a level consistent with an intentional overdose.

She did not have a prescription for the drug, and police say she left no suicide note.
The coroner's office did not confirm the report but is expected to release its finding later today.
Hemingway was 41-years old.
