A teenage brother of one of the girls was upstairs.
He was also stabbed when he tried to intervene.

Police say 22 year-old Mark Heinrich also totalled his pickup truck when he crashed it into a Building at Sturbridge Square Apartments.
No one was in the apartment at the time.
The accident happened on University City Boulevard shortly after midnight.
Heinrich is charged with driving under the influence.

Yokohama informed union officials earlier this week that layoffs are on the way.
That's according to Local 10-23 president Eddie Robitson.
He says the company has not indicated how many employees will lose their jobs... nor when.
Company officials would not confirm the information, but would not rule out the possibility of future layoffs.
Last month, Yokohama cut 44 jobs from the Salem plant and announced a seven- day shutdown.
And, just yesterday another week- long furlough was ordered.

It's an advanced bionic hearing device that uses an external speech processor to electronically convert sound.
Clarion Cochlear Implants consist of a small receiver surgically implanted under the skin.
Sounds picked up by the microphone in the headpiece are converted by a mini pager-sized processor into electrical signals that the brain interprets as speech.
