C-B-S News has learned that investigators testing the wreckage have found small traces of P-E-T-N, a chemical used in some plastic explosives.

The trace of p-e-t-n, identified by the f-b-i labortory, was found on one piece of wreckage from center section of the boeing 747.
Sources say the evidence was found on a seat between rows 17 and 28, in the passenger cabin bound by the plane's front gally and lavatory.
CBS News has learned investigators discovered the explosive trace several days ago, perhaps two weeks ago, but apparently withheld the information waiting to find additional confirming evidence.
Still aviation experts say a single trace discovery of explosive residue may be enough for investigators to declare a crime was committed. MCGUIRE:I WOULD SAY FINDING TRACES OF P-E-T-N IS A 95% ASSURANCE THAT A BOMB BROUGHT IT DOWN.

The Air National Guard A-Ten went down on a maintenance test flight.
Authorities say they have not determined if the pilot ejected before the crash.

Chesapeake police say a man broke into a house during the party and stabbed Michelle Harper to death.
They say at least two of the girls were raped.
A boy who was sleeping upstairs was stabbed several times when he woke up and tried to intervene.
A 19-year-old neighbor, Curtis Lee White, has been arrested in connection with the attack.
The names the three people injured have not been released.
