A Halifax County man is behind bars this morning in connection with the
shooting death of his wife.
Police say 48-year-old Robert Lewis Clay shot his wife, Joy, in their home
yesterday morning.
Officials say she was shot in the arm and head with a 12 gauge shotgun.
Clay is charged with first degree murder.

neighborhood.
