An accident in Botetourt County this afternoon left two teenagers seriously injured.

It happened just before two o'clock, on Route 43 between Eagle Rock and Buchanan.
State police say the driver of a pickup truck lost control as it was coming around a curve, and ran off the road into a field.
The driver was thrown from the truck; the passenger stayed inside.
Both were taken by Lifeguard 10 to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
State police say since they are juveniles, their names will not be released.
No word on their conditions.

About 80 students will kick off the the first day of classes today at the four year, co-educational school.
The former all-women's college known as Southern Seminary had been scheduled to close in May after years of financial troubles.
But Mormon investors took over the school May 13th with a plan to combine academic rigor with wholesome living.
